Terobsesi menjadi “The Next Sandiaga Uno”

Setelah berkali-kali bertemu dengan Bpk Sandiaga Salahudin Uno, ternyata..saya jadi terobsesi ingin menjadi dia. Padahal bisnisnya sangat berbeda jauh. Dia di bidang keuangan, sedangkan saya hanya eksportir.

Setelah membaca riwayat beliau dari beberapa majalah, ternyata sangat sulit sekali untuk mengikuti jejaknya. pak Sandy memulai usaha dengan membuat Private Equity Fund.

Hanya orang yang memiliki jaringan internasional saja yang bisa membuat PE (Private Equity). Oleh karena itu….saya memutusskan menjadi diri sendiri saja…Tapi saya harus punya usaha baru…yang cikal bakal menjadi besar..kalau bisa listing di bursa. Amin.

Sabtu, 13 Maret 2010. Saya dan keluarga ke Jakarta. Anak-anak dan istri jalan-jalan ke Taman Mini, ikut rombongan field trip TK Al Azhar Cirebon. Saya langsung saja ke IFFINA, mau liat para peserta pameran dan liat-liat apakah banyak buyer yang datang atau nggak…..

Ternyata banyak juga buyer yang datang….cuma laporan ke media dari EO pasti lebih heboh lagi, karena semua pengunjung ditulis “buyer” di name tag nya jangan lebay plisss

Para peserta pameran mengeluarkan segala sejata pamungkas, mulai dari desain dan finishing terbarunya. Hebat….selalu saja ada inovasi. Ada kursi anyaman dari kertas yang mirip dengan anyaman eceng gondok.

Ada pula peserta pameran yang memperlihatkan barang-barang yang biasa saja….mungkin baru pertama kali pameran

Perusahaan besar dan perusahaan kecil terlihat sekali perbedaannya. Perusahaan besar pasti memiliki booth yang luas dengan inovasi produk yang bagus, sedangkan perusahaan kecil, booth nya kecil dan produknya juga biasa-biasa saja, seperti kebanyakan.

Lain halnya jika di internet, perusahaan besar dan kecil tidak terlihat bedanya malahan bisa kelihatan lebih besar perusahaan kecil jika website perusahaan kecil itu menampilkan banyak informasi penting tentang perusahaannya.

Dari pengalaman mengunjungi IFFINA 2010, saya mengambil kesimpulan, bahwa saya tetap di jalur promosi lewat internet saja, murah meriah. Walaupun banyak yang bilang, dapetnya cuma “teri” melulu. Apa bedanya “teri” sekilo deangan “tuna” sekilo, kan sama-sama sekilo

ikan teri dimakan oleh ikan agak besar, sedangkan ikan agak besar dimakan oleh ikan yg besar. Karena saya merasa masih menjadi ikan agak besar maka makanannya teri saja daripada makan ikan besar..ternyata kemampuan makannya tidak ada. Dan yang pasti lebih baik daripada tidak makan sama sekali hahaha
